| The demos are now being made for the new album, and its
sounding very nice! No news of the cover versions yet though. We should have a full track listing of the album songs (including bonus tracks and cover versions) next time round. |

| The album recording is planned to be in May, and released on Secret Records prior to the tour in October. |
| Rehearsals for the upcoming tour have been happening in Lancashire - Yeah, Olga, Tommy Goober and Dave The Nut are locked away in Lancashire rehearsing the new TOY DOLLS set, it's coming along really nicely but we'll have more news on how it's all going next time. |

| A TOY DOLLS book is being written! This will be mainly about THE TOY DOLLS songs and the stories behind them, but it will feature THE TOY DOLLS activities too. The guy writing it has been a fan for years and has seen the band perform live many times, even back in early 80s, so it promises to be a great read! A title hasn’t been decided on yet, we will keep you informed on that and of the exact date it will be published. At the moment it looks like its going to be be late October 2004. |
| Here's a word from the author: "To mark the band's 25th anniversary, the first full-scale TOY DOLLS biography is due for publication in October 2004. Fans from across the world are invited to contribute their TOY DOLLS memories, or comments on their favourite song, album or gig and what makes the band so special for them. All contributions used will be properly acknowledged in print. The book will be in English, but the publishers are able to accept your comments in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or Catalan, via the temporary e-mail address toydollsbook@hotmail.com. Details of the precise publication date will follow soon". |
