hi, written afew questions before so here goes another, was at the durham show last september and gotta say enjoyed it after not seeing you's since mayfair 1985, hopefully will get to see you's again one day, my question is what are the chances of playing some oldie songs like come back jackie, carol dodds is pregnant, and modern schools of motoring o the next tour? classic songs and would love to hear them live, also i stumbled across the studio 1 tv show you did a while back in the 80's, got it on disc to watch over and over again, was there any other tv gigs you did like that? also an idea for the website, a section where you explain the meaning behind each individual song, apart from the covers, songs like come back jackie, who's jackie? and whats the story behind it, would be a good read, any cheers and so long for now andy

Andy Hi We will be including more old songs next year yes! We did include Modern School of Motoring in the mid 80s, but we may bring it back! Not sure what the studio1 TV show is! Something I missed!? Actually the Fulwell to Fukuoka book has sections about the songs.
Cheers

Hello, I have a vhs tape recorded from back in the 80's with you guys playing in studio 1 in london. It was broadcast I think 1985 or so. I can't find any info on the gig on your site nor the internet. It's you, Teddy and Dean so it has to be from around 1985-86. I would love to have an exact date. Any ideas? Best Pete//

Mmm. Not sure what that is to be honest, never heard of it! Maybe the Klub Foot show? Tell me more about it if you can!?

dear olga- i play roller derby in new york city for the gotham girls roller derby league. do you like roller derby? i guess this is less or an 'ask olga' questions, as it is a "hey olga we like you so much that!' message. my home team is "queens of pain." our theme is that we're dominatrixes from queens, uh, who play roller derby. we're skating in the season championship this saturday oct 25th. we have purchased like 400 kazoos because we're entering into the arena to your cover of "final countdown." we highly anticipate this to be the greatest roller derby entrance any team has EVER done in the existence of awesomeness. i wanted to let you know that you inspired us all, and we love you! we hope to defeat the bronx gridlock, our rivals. attached is a photo of me with the "golden skate" trophy. we won in 2006. damn bronx won in 2007. now its payback time. its the final countdown! if you're in nyc saturday let me know. i'll get you a bout ticket. love! -suzy hotrod, queens of pain: gotham girls roller derb

Suzy Hey! How did it go!?? Let me know! I am flattered that you are using our Final countdown! 4000 kazoos! Wow! Wish I coulda been there. Great pic by the way x

Hey, Dude, im a musician from Ottawa, Canada. I have played in 4 local bands. How did you get so skilled at guitar. When i started listening to your musician i really though it was 2 guitarist. So what are your secrets to the perfect mix between rhythm and lead? ARe you still playing show and if not, are† the Toy Dolls playing a reunion tour anytime soon. If so you should come play Ottawa!

Hey! Cheers, I am essentially a rhythm guitar player, and with there only being one guitar in the band I learn solos that don't sound like a big hole in the sound has appeared. Yes still playing shows! Check the tour dates and live archive for info! Would love to eventually get to Ottawa!

I know you are busy, so you don’t have to respond. I just thought you might get a kick to know that my 7 year old son asked me the other day if I could get you guys to play at his birthday party. I thought that was funny. And this morning he was listening to his iPod and got upset because he missed his favorite song (Harry Cross--- I wrote before asking about kids’ gear and told you he used to call this song “Allyos”). I had to show him how to go back into his iPod so he could hear it. Anyway, hope you come to Las Vegas soon! † Brandi

Brandi hey Hi to yer son! Wow, hope he has his iPod sorted now! Will get back to Vegas eventually!

Joanna Hi Thank you!! Me local barber does me hair! Here in NW London. Totally cool eh!? Cheers! I am not keen on Chenky, but I agree with you about Dez! Will think about your proposal! X

Hello! Have you reissued any of your albums on vinyl or should I be looking for them 2nd hand? Also, if you decide to tour the UK again any chance or some more obscure songs wiggling their way into the setlist? It would be great to hear stuff like Poverty Pleadin' Peter, I'm a Lonely Bastard or even Ron Dixon dumped D-D...
All the best, Adam

Adam hello I don't think there have been re issues on vinyl, so I guess 2nd hand is ya best bet! Good idea about the songs, we intend on including some oldies next time around. Ta for ya thoughts, not many folk have mention those 3 songs!
Cheers
