Yo Olga! I was at your recent gig at the Durham Student Union in September (I was one of the Youn-uns in the front row). Apart from a cracked rib, it was the best gig I've been to in my life hands down! Just wondering if your close to releasin gthe new material yet or if my Toy Dolls/Anti-Nowhere League playlist has to chug on through politics lessons for a bit longer? Cheers mate. Scott From Durham

Hey, Scott, Cracked rib? really. oh no, hope it was worth it! Busy with the new album now, but will take at least a year to complete! We had a great time in Durham! cheers

Jos Hi Very best of luck with learning! It is a normal Fender USA Telecaster, but its an old one, 1978. with a Seymour Duncan bridge pick up. I guess the new Fender USA vintage models are similar, but expensive! Good luck!

Olga

Dear Olga, First, I hope all is going well for you and your bandmates. I'm born in 1984 so i'm 23 now and since i'm in age of listening music, I've discovered your band. Then, I've bought all you've done. Now, I own all your albums that I listen every day in my car while going to work. i'm alone in my car and I can't avoid dancing as a fool and people think i'm crazy despite the volume id very high in my car. But the main point is that I dream about going to a tour of you but unfortunatly, I can't go over France (too busy for that) so I was wondering if you will come to France one day. Can you tell me if you ever plan going to France for a big mess? Then, I'd like to know if it's possible to send me an autographed card from you and all the band. If yes, i'll email you after your answer in order to give you my postal adress (because I don't want it to appear on your website... hope you can understand ^^) Thanks a lot for making me so happy with your music. Love. GaeL from Toulouse, France.

Gael Hello All the albums, wow! thank you! We have toured France many times, sorry you didnt catch us! We will be back, after the next album is released, I am sure Toulouse wil be in there too! send your address to Ciaron at the Toy Dolls website, we will arrange the autographs for ya, no problem!

Hi any tours planned in sweden in the year of 2oo8? I missed your last consert in sweden, just love ure music..

Hi! 2008 isnt a touring year for us, as we will be writing, but there may be some one-off shows here and there, and maybe Sweden! who knows! whatever, we will be back there on the next main tour!
Olga

Hi Olga, Went to see you in Glasgow in September and it was brilliant. Unfortunately I lost allllllll my photos from the gig. So I was wondering if you would kindly play Rebellion Blackpool in August 2008, so I can take lots of new photos!! We'll even pick you up in our bus on the way down, and you can stay with us in our hotel ;) But seriously please play Rebellion? Please? Please? Louise x

Hi Louise I am pleased you enjoyed the Glasgow gig, we had a really nice time there. Sorry you lost ya pics! Its a bit early to play UK again in 2008, but I am sure we will be back eventually, hope ya can wait! And I am sure Rebellion will be rockin without us! Cheers.
Olga

I had to write and say that my two year old son is the biggest fan. Have you considered re-recording some classics for the animal crackers and sippy cup crowd? It's worked well for They Might Be Giants! I still remember playing A Far Out Disc for my 6th grade class (about a year after it came out) and the class was going nuts, although no one in Orange County, CA knew what a vicar was. Keep up the great work. Josh

Josh Hey Glad ya two yer old is a fan! Would love to get back to CA asap! We may re record some stuff, or, classics as you put it! THANK YOU! Cheers again
Olga

Hi Olga, I am from Sunny Hartlepool, I waited all of my life to see you in the uk, I finally did and then I moved to Fukuoka, I know you tour Japan alot, it would be great if Fukuoka is on the next tour. My question is: Do you ever sing Nelie the Elephant on The Karaoke when your in Japan? Question For Duncan, I know snuff were big in Japan too, any plans on putting out a compilation of allÊyour Japanese songs? Northern Jon

Jon Hi I have just returned from Japan, though Tokyo is a fair hike from Fukuoka, we may get back there eventually, its been a while! I have never tried Karaoke to be honest! too frightened! I will ask Duncan about the Japanese compilation! Cheers, enjoy yerself there!
Olga

Olga

Hello First, thank you for all the great songs you've written and perhaps and hopefully there will be many more :) I'm intrested about which solo of all solo's from all Toy Dolls songs you like most, the one that you are most proud of, for me it's the solo in Harry's Hands, that is awesome!!! Keep up the work with the new album, there is not many persons that's got the creativity in songwriting that you got :) and defenitly not has the guitar skills. It's very nice that you create this music and makes us fans happy. Johan Sweden

Johan Hello Thank you! Cheers for all your nice words! I also like The Harrys Hands solo, it took me ages to write it! The solo I am most proud of is either Alecs Gone solo, or Glenda and the test tube baby solo. Worst one...too many to mention! see you sweden next time around.

Olga

Hello Olga! How are you? Well I know people ask you about upcoming tour dates and I understand you get irritated about it and I've been checking like almost every day to see if you post any new shows in the US . Well I just want to tell you if you ever come to California to please please please keep in mind Pomona(the Glass House) I really want to see you guys and Pomona is the farthest my parents would let me go to a show (since I'm pretty much grounded for life). Sorry to have bothered you about this. Take Care! Fond Greetings, Evey

Hi Evey I am very well thank you! We did play Pomona Glass House a few times in the past, rockin venue, but bloody hot! At the moment we are concentrating on writing another album, so USA looks unlikely to be in the immediate future. However, we will be back!! I keep saying this, but getting into USA isnt as easy as it used to be, visas /permits etc. Our management our in talks with various US promoters, please bear with us!! We always have a great time Stateside. take care
Olga

i olga my question is what is your favourite song you made? Mine is Harrys hands From Dino (Deano)

Hi Deano Thank you, I like Harrys Hands, we used to play it live for a couple o years, theres been a few people mention the song, maybe we would consider playing it again on the next main tour. My favourite Toy Dolls song, probably Alecs Gone. Cheers
Olga

Hi Olga, are there any plans of heading down under (New Zealand)? Cheers Craig

Craig Hi I wish! theres no talk of it just yet, but I know a few bands who have been and had a great time, lets hope it happens for us soon too!

Hi olga how are you doin? Just wanted to know if you are goin to bring out a DVD with Harrys hands in it because Harrys hands is my favourite song in the whole entire world. I brought the DVD of your last tour and i think it is wicked i have wached it 3 times and i havn't got bored of it yet. Dino (Deano)

Hello Deano again! When we make another DVVD, harrys Hands may well be included! will keep ya posted, cheers!
Olga

Olga

Come on! You still rock my socks of, man you are so good and always put a smile back on my face when listening to you guys. You are absolute great performers and please don't ever stop. Well I suppose it would look weird peforming in a wheelchair but has it ever been done and would it not be kind of cool? Oh well, I am so gutted the only gig you do in London is Sold out, good for you but not so good for me, any plans on any more gigs in London? Why don't you just get some amazing set up for the 02 arena, now that would be wicked. Toy Dolls doing 02, why not? Madness did, they kind of rock while you really, really rock. Up to the challenge? Monica

Hey Monica Thank you! Sorry you missed the London show, I guess we will be back, not sure which venue yet! O2 Arena may be slightly outta our league! Will let ya know.
Olga

Hi Olga! Hope the writing goes well, can't wait to hear the new album (even though I know it will take time before it gets released). I have one question for you: A while ago I saw Dig That Groove Baby on LP at an auction site and the seller claimed it was a pink vinyl. Unfortunately, he did not have any photo of it so I thought it sounded a bit suspicious. So, do you know if there is a pink vinyl version of this LP out or not? B t w, brilliant gig in Durham last year. Take care, Jonas

Jonas hi The writing is moving forward, thank you, on with song number 1 now! Hmmm, I have never heard of a pink Dig that groove baby Lp!? though maybe its a release from a different country? limited edition or something? However, I myself am not aware of it! let me know what happens! Cheers, was nice to be back in Durham!
Olga.

Gary Hey Shiney Row Social Club eh!? wow, that brings back distant memories! Hope the army is serving ya well! Around the time of touring there are plenty of posters! but at the moment we are just concentrating on writing, so best if you drop me a line towrads the end of next year, should be some available then.
